Congratulations Card February 18, 2010
Just about the only thing I’ve been hearing since Sunday is “Congratulations”, because Mark and I got engaged! It’s totally exciting, but when I was trying to come up with a design for this week, I was stumped, and I had procrastinated. I decided to do a Congratulations card Glade style.
Every week I will be giving away one card of my new design. My New Year’s resolution was to design a new greeting card each week. So check back every Thursday, and all you have to do to enter the giveaway is leave a comment. Wedding Cheers June 5, 2009
I always like to design my cards with a specific person in mind. In this particular case, there are two people I had in mind. My old roommate Jenny and her partner, Siet, are having a green wedding on July 4th. Jenny loves butterflies, so I wanted a congratulations card with butterflies. After I finished the design, I spoke with Jenny on the phone and found out that her grandmother had just passed away and they had the memorial at a butterfly center.

My new card design is plain and simple…”you rock” on the front and “end of story” on the inside. I designed this to give to my brother for graduating from college, only I forgot to give it to him. Congratulations Alex! Alex just got his B.B.A. from JMU in Economics and Finance. If anyone knows of any great jobs for him, let me know!
