Congratulations Card February 18, 2010
Just about the only thing I’ve been hearing since Sunday is “Congratulations”, because Mark and I got engaged! It’s totally exciting, but when I was trying to come up with a design for this week, I was stumped, and I had procrastinated. I decided to do a Congratulations card Glade style.
Every week I will be giving away one card of my new design. My New Year’s resolution was to design a new greeting card each week. So check back every Thursday, and all you have to do to enter the giveaway is leave a comment. I will be announcing the winner of this giveaway next Thursday when I post my new card design, so just leave a comment before next Thursday. The winner of this card is Hanni, Congratulations!
Here it is:
This card is also available in my etsy shop.

Congratulations to Lynsey for winning last week’s giveaway!
My 2010 New Year’s resolution is to design and make one new card every week. I post the new designs here on my blog every Thursday. My cards are also for sale on my etsy shop, glademade.
This week’s design:
If you would like to win one of these cards please leave a comment with the color you would like (pink or blue). Also I am taking requests for cards, so if you have an idea, please send me an email at glademade (at) gmail (dot) com
The winner of this card is my boo, Mark! I promise this contest is not rigged. One of our friends is having a baby soon, so Mark wants to give this card.
Wedding Cheers June 5, 2009
I always like to design my cards with a specific person in mind. In this particular case, there are two people I had in mind. My old roommate Jenny and her partner, Siet, are having a green wedding on July 4th. Jenny loves butterflies, so I wanted a congratulations card with butterflies. After I finished the design, I spoke with Jenny on the phone and found out that her grandmother had just passed away and they had the memorial at a butterfly center.
Here is the design:
Let me know what you think!
You Rock! May 13, 2009
My new card design is plain and simple…”you rock” on the front and “end of story” on the inside. I designed this to give to my brother for graduating from college, only I forgot to give it to him. Congratulations Alex! Alex just got his B.B.A. from JMU in Economics and Finance. If anyone knows of any great jobs for him, let me know!
